We feel that the bond language needs to be more transparent about their plans for future building closures. All of the elementary and middle school closures. They are on record saying what their plans are despite their spin.

Unfortunately, CRCSD officials (outside of Dexter) will not listen to you. They won't even listen to the Cedar Rapids City Council's major concerns about this plan (which we will have a youtube spot on soon as a reminder). They won't listen to anyone. They are totally fixated on building new buildings and shiny new toys regardless how bad the plan is. Peitioning them will do no good. We think the only thing that is going to reach this district is voting the bond down (they still need to get signatures to get this on the ballot in the first place) and voting in new school board members (outside of Dexter).
